Asia for animals Conference 2010
Asia for Animals (AFA) is the largest, most representative Asian animal protection conference.
This dynamic conference is a platform for animal protection experts, members of the public and government officials to consolidate and share experiences, with an eye to developing new strategies and facilitating long-term change.
Since 2001, this biennial conference has each time welcomed over 200 delegates from all across the world. Held previously in Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Chennai and Bali, Singapore will once again be hosting AFA in 2010.
AFA Singapore 2010 will be held from the 15th – 18th January at the Furama RiverFront Hotel, and we are expecting more than 300 international delegates to attend the conference.
Asia for Animals 2010 – “Making a long term positive change”, will focus on developing and implementing concrete long-term solutions for ongoing animal protection and cruelty problems.
"A vision without a task is but a dream A task without a vision is drudgery, But a vision and a task is the hope of the world."
The conference theme is in line with this quote - that is, the urgent need for a common vision for the animal protection movement and the development of long-term, concrete steps to take to achieve this vision.
